The hike starts in a windmill area, remnants of the island’s agricultural past. From there, we will enter a lunar-like landscape made up of malpaís, an extensive field of solidified lava dotted with craters and lava vents.

At less than 10,000 years old, this volcanic cone, the youngest on the island, stands majestically before us, inviting you to discover its secrets. The area is not only remarkable for its stunning natural beauty but also for its great archaeological value. Numerous caves were inhabited in pre-Hispanic times, preserving remains and traces of ancient cultures.
